Our painting are our stories, our visual representation of who we are, our history, our methof of teaching and recording our history. The story may be told one way to children and a very different structure when speaking to initiated elders. Used by Aboriginal people for different purposes, and the interpretations of the symbols in the artwork can vary according to the audience, story teller and purpose.
