Kokoda Dawn is the journey of one soldier's deployment on the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea during World War II.  The term "Kokoda Dawn" was created by the lyricist as the fictitious term of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).   Although our soldier hears this term from experienced soldiers during his journey, he naively thinks that Kokoda Dawn is a beautiful, majestic place only seen at the top of the Kokoda Trail (the front line) in the mornings.
